Alone in a Field of Flowers

When I am feeling sad I like to find things that make me smile and lighten my heart. I have been struggling a lot lately with my emotions, mostly feeling sad. Nana tried to comfort me, but even her cookies wouldn’t help and I love those chocolate chip cookies she always hides in the cupboard for her meetings with friends. Nana suggest that I get some fresh air, so I went down to the community garden and found a patch of wild flowers and just stood there with my new dolly swaying with flowers; calming my soul.

Feeling Nautical

I decided to change the look of my room and wanted something that reminded me of a carefree life. The only thing I could think of was those who live in fishing villages always seem to have a smile on their face and laughter floats on the wind. I decided to make my room over with nautical decor. I then had a tea party with my bears and showed them all the new cool things I put in my room. Nana even made us some fish cakes… which I did not like, but told her they were delicious anyway.

Not Heavy Enough

I took Nana’s favourite kitty with me down to the pool today, I figured he wanted to come with me since he would not leave me alone. We sat by the pool watching the birds and other people play in the water. I ate some macaroons and watched a man make balloon creatures. I must have been distracted when Nana’s kitty stole one of my macaroons and started to run away. I only noticed because he was caught in my balloon that I had tied to the chair. I chased after him and caught his paw just as the wind caught it and started to pull us into the air.

I have become obsessed with award shows so much so, that I will even watch an award show for pets. I love seeing the excitement on their faces as their name is called and they are given a trophy to take home. Sometimes I see the same people getting the same award or many awards. I wonder what they do with all these awards. Do they have a room that is solely dedicated to their awards?

Finding My Inner Rainbow

I have been feeling a little under the weather lately and not overly sure why. I thought I might have been getting sick and Nana and Auntie tried their best to cheer me up and make me feel better. Auntie even went out and got me a new headband and sweater dress. She told me to feel better and to find my rainbow again soon, even if it meant being the unicorn. I am not really sure what she meant by that, but the headband made me giggle and I chased her puppy around the house until I needed to take a nap.

Sleeping On The Moon

I grudgingly admitted to Auntie and Nana that I was not sleeping well because it is so noisy and dark in the loft. Nana said she could help with the dark but not the noise because that is city life. We went shopping and I lost track of where Nana went off to so I stayed with Auntie. When we got home we ate supper and then I went play in my room and found a unicorn sleeping on a moon casting the perfect amount of glow in the dark.

Doodling

Auntie has found my lack of education very displeasing, personally I think I am well rounded. She had heard some mom’s at the playgroup that I now go to talking about how I could not write yet. I told Auntie that I am only three and that I know a lot of my age. I told her that I know how to read and I can write simple words. This did not help my case at all though. She has hired a lady to come in and teach me at home. Today I was told to write about how we grow plants. I found my favourite planters and started writing about them…. well I actually drew about them instead because doodling is more fun then writing anyway.

My New Collection

Auntie took me shopping the other day at something called a Flea Market. I thought this was really funny since Nana is always trying to make sure the kitties never get fleas. I kept giggling the entire time we were in the taxi and eventually Auntie asked me what was so funny. I told her that it was funny that we were going to go and buy fleas at the market when we spend so much time making sure the kitties do not get fleas. She laughed and told me that they do not sell fleas there, which has left me rather confused as to why they call it a flea market then. When we got there I was amazed to see all the cool booths, foods, toys, trinkets, and clothes. I found this one booth that had the cutest teacups and for the first time ever I wanted to collect the same thing as Nana. I think she will love my new collection just as much as I do!

Dream

One little word creates such curiosities. Dream, a simple thing we do each day of our lives either awake or asleep. We are often get told to stop our day dreaming and focus or asked if we remember what we dream about each night. We get asked what we dream about for our futures. I personally dream of a lot of things at any one time. Currently I dream of a far off place where I can do as I wish and not have to worry about things. To dream gives us a means of escape from reality and some times those dreams come true. Ah to dream, may we never lose this ability. I for one enjoy my dreams both good and bad; today I dreamed I was flying and I have never flown before, a swing is as close as I have come.

I Need a Vacation!

Feeling a little sluggish lately, like I am fighting a bug or something. I do not know what it is. Maybe I have played way to hard lately and I am just plum worn out. Nana always tells me when she feels off that she needs a vacation, maybe that is what this is. Maybe I need a vacation to rejuvenate like Nana. New scenery she always says does the trick. I packed my new bag full of clothes and toys and now I just need to tell Nana we needs a vacation.
