Did You Hear the One About the….

It was a long day of play when I finally got a moment to sit down in my play house and enjoy a quiet moment; though it was not overly quiet the cat kept munching his foot to loudly. I laid in my new blue chair listening to the music from my new compact, not really paying attention to my little friend on the red chair. Suddenly I was startled out of my day dream when I heard my little friend speak, at first I thought I was hearing things until I saw him move. I turned slightly to look at him and again I heard it much louder “Did you hear the one about the dog who crossed the road?” My new toy likes to tell jokes.

Cooking on the Fire

I have been spending some time at Mr. Doc’s home wandering around the large yard. I found a cool beach and a large open space to put out anything that I might want to play with. I called over a few friends and we decided that the best thing for this space was a campfire. We convinced their parents to help us set up a few things. All that work though made us very hungry, so my one friends mommy started cooking over the fire; I am not sure how bread is going to taste cooked over the fire or that pot of beans, I am only use to hot dogs and marshmallows done over the fire.
