Geese is the Word

I was out minding my own business taking selfies around the farm today. I wandered around for hours, taking pictures here and there. I wandered down the dirt path right into the middle of the geese who honked and made all kinds of noise at me. I thought they wanted me to take a selfie with them, but this just made them honk even more. The baby chick stood pecking at my toes which made me giggle but the geese didn’t want anything to do with it. I quickly moved away and let them do as they wanted.

I have become obsessed with award shows so much so, that I will even watch an award show for pets. I love seeing the excitement on their faces as their name is called and they are given a trophy to take home. Sometimes I see the same people getting the same award or many awards. I wonder what they do with all these awards. Do they have a room that is solely dedicated to their awards?

Snow Much Fun

Cora invited me over to play today and I graciously accepted some time away from Nana’s friends. We played all day outside in the snow with the new sleds. At one point I thought I was going to stuck in the snowbank as I sunk deeper into the snow and Cora just stood there. I think she was secretly laughing on the inside or she was wondering what in the world she was going to do with me. I am pretty sure she thought of the time I fell into the intertube head first. Well if she wasn’t I sure was. We had snow much fun I cannot wait to go sledding with her again!

Picking Apples

It is that time of year, when apples are being picked and sold. I find an apple picked in the fall has the best flavour. They are sweet and juicy and oh my do they ever make the best ciders and butters. I love going to the farm and picking apples and attending the apple butter festival. I love the cooler weather and being able to enjoy myself outdoors in the orchard.

My Favourite Time of the Year

It is getting close to that time of year. I go a little crazy and buy lots of decorations even though I have a great number of them already. There is just something about Hallowe’en that makes me need more and more. I never content until I have the newest decorations to add to my collection. Lost in the Corn Maze

Last night I set out on a search for the most epic corn maze ever. I got out a map and looked for any place that said Hallowe’en and figured those would be the best places to start. I found one that looked like it had great promise and I started my journey through the maze. I turned corners and walked paths, but now I am lost and cannot find my way back out. I wish I had brought flares so others would know that I was lost inside.

The Diner is Open

While I was out for a little walk after being cooped up in side for a long time, I came up this little stand with a menu. I looked around to see who owned it and found no one, but the smells coming from behind the little stand were delicious. I stood trying to read what I believed to be the menu (it needs more pictures for us just learning how to read) and finally decided I wanted to try some fries (or that is what I thought the word with the big F said). I yelled out my order and suddenly started hearing movement from behind. I looked around and still saw no one. I started to smell frying fish and saw Bina popped up and stare at me as I stood looking back at him. Why was he cooking fish when he knows I do not like fish?

Video Games and Circus Toys

I went over to a friends house last night and he showed me some of his new toys. He has this cool one that you can play all types of video games on, even while outside by the pool. His little sister showed me her new toy with circus animals that can be stored in a trunk when you are finished with them. I had a lot of fun playing with both toys and have decided to add them to my must have list that I will give mommy later.

Unicorns and Mermaids are Real

For as long as I can remember I have always held a firm belief that the things we no long see in our everyday lives actually did exist. We may not have real proof but the stories that are told are very convincing. Sailors tell stories of of their fellow mates being lured to the bottom of the seas by the songs of mermaids and others several tell stories of horses with horns which they call unicorns. For me they must be real if we can tell stories of encounters and draw amazing pictures of these creatures we no longer see. They must be real and only show themselves to those who are truly worthy.
